Bio - Meet Candace
With parents who had an eye for extraordinary spaces and a father who was a real estate developer, Candace's love for interiors and elevated living was cultivated from an early age.
Throughout school, Candace excelled in art and music, developing a strong eye for aesthetics, coordination, prints and color. She almost went to college for art but was pulled in another direction. While her professional journey led her into the world of music and DJing, her passion for homes and styling them
remained a constant infatuation. Over time, that interest evolved into a deep appreciation for interiors, furnishings, wallpaper, and the transformative power of incredible spaces and the impact they have.
As Candace spent years djing in Miami, her entrepreneurial spirit and design talent emerged through creating her Honey Bee Wine Glasses, which she birthed from inception. They earned recognition as both ‘Amazon’s Choice’ and ‘Editor’s Pick’ on Amazon. This success became a meaningful stepping stone into the world of home décor, styling, and then expanding her creative vision from curating home decor items into helping others create entire homes that feel unique and fabulous.
Modern Outlet Home Decor evolved from one product into a full service design company.
Living in sunny South Florida, she draws daily inspiration from nature, often finding influence during walks with her beloved rescued Basenji mix, Bambi. By staying closely attuned to evolving design trends and thoughtfully incorporating organic elements into each client’s personal style, Candace has a unique ability to bring beauty, balance, and individuality together with finesse.
Beyond curating spaces, Candace is a cycling instructor, DJ, and passionate advocate for dog rescue. As principal decorator and founder of Modern Outlet Home Decor, she aspires to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but change how people feel and live in their own homes. ‘When you are out with friends, working or just running errands, I want you to feel like you can’t wait to get back home’. - Candace
